Linz Within the World 2009

“Linz Within the World“ is an attempt at a cultural-historical integration of the architecture of Linz of the sixties and seventies into that era. It does not generate an objective, exclusive, chronological history, but, quite on the contrary, a side-by-side and simultaneousness of many little stories and connections which the beholders themselves put together. This cartography is created in the context of the exhibition “Hässliche Entlein – Architektur der 60er und 70er Jahre in Linz“ (Ugly Ducklings – Architecture of the Sixties and Seventies in Linz), and is, in light of its complexity, a first draft and work-in-progress.
